Dr Fawzo received his doctorate in Veterinary medicine at the “Université Catholique de Louvain” in Belgium, and then completed his doctorate at the “Université Libre de Bruxelles”. He then specialized in orthopedics and general surgery techniques in a one year internship at the Upsola Veterinary Faculty, Sweden.

After his study abroad, he became director of the vaccine department and research coordinator at the “Institut de Recherches Agronomiques” in Fanar from 1972 until 1992. During this time, he also taught general biology in the faculty of medicine in “Louvain University” in Baabda. Several years later he co-founded the “Lebanese Veterinary Syndicate” and served as treasurer.

Dr Fawzo founded the veterinary pharmaceutical group “Vetopharm” in 1992, and he has since served as chairman
